The little window

Sunday, 18th March: This is the little window for the extension. As this window does not open, it is much simpler to make that than the big one so I will not go through a detailed construction as it is similar to the other one.

The leaded light

The antique 'bullseye' glass

The above is a close up of an antique bullseye glass taken from an old leaded light removed from a window in the main house. It's interesting to see that the complete pane is hand blown as the ripples go right to the outside edge of the pane. These are rather hard to get hold of these days, though you do see them on eBay from time to time.

The completed window

Just need to fit the double glazing unit.
